LA Olvera (2019)
LA Olvera St. is a colorful collection of Hispanic novelties bringing memories of where I grew up and what I experienced. Olvera St. was a gathering place for my family and loved ones who were far from home.The rosaries, luchador masks, guitars, and keychains, take me back to being five and only being able to choose one item with the $5 my parents gave me to spend. The overwhelmingly detailed image draws you in as you discern each carefully placed item.
